I am given a change by the new euro-looking 200-ruble bill with Crimea images on both sides. Are they too meek to print Alaska images there?

Guests from Crimea are visiting our home. They are always the friends of ours regardless of the flag flying over that peninsula.

The previous time, I climbed the Diva rock in 2001, together with my junior wife and senior son. Today, I repeated that endeavor with my junior son but without senior wife . The rock, compared to the start of the century, has become more civilized, with two trash bins established on the top.

I am asking some women to take picture of me and Max. She takes the camera and starts directing the scene:
-Well, you, man, stay next to Stalin. And you, boy, stay between those two... I don't know who they are!

I was interviewed by the Business FM radio. What was the most pleasant in it, the questions didn't relate to children, as if I can't talk about anything else.

It is interesting to hear the Crimean residents describing the peninsula's changing status: Russia took us, Russia absorbed us, Russia came to us, Russia accepted us. But I've never heard someone saying "We joined Russia" or "We returned to Russia", etc.
Language is a subtle thing which clearly distinguishes between the active and passive voices!

Bleak men with metal detectors are searching the beach while police vigilantly scrutinizes everyone entering the Colors Festival. Max plays frisbee with a girl from Kharkov - Crimea is the territory of peoples' friendship.

Every morning I'm cleaning a playground, where Max spends time with his local friends, of empty beer and wine bottles left by Yalta visitors and residents. This is my crucial contribution to Crimea's de-occupation and re-integration - or to restoration of the region's infrastructure, if you wish.

We lost ourselves in the Nikita botanic garden's labyrinth and had to go outside via the fifth dimension: descending along the nearly vertical rocky slope, I inavante-guard, Max in the rear. So we had an unplanned alpines adventure.

Local friend of Max invited him to his home, so I had to meet the boy's mother. Svetlana lives in Yalta since her birth in that haunted house and she is a professional serviceperson, Prior to 2014, she served in Ukrainian Armed Force, afterward in Russian forces.
-Isn't it too difficult choice for a serviceperson to change a flag? - I asked.
-Well, not everyone around is Savchenko. If Russia refused someone's application to join its army, this is not because they didn't want to betray Ukraine but mostly because their experience has been useless for the Russian army, - she said.

Me and Max are walking on the beach and come across the boys he befriended a year ago.
-Hi, Max, have you made your mind over who you play for, dark power or light one?
Max's friends had been waiting for his decision for entire year and did not start playing.

We got acquainted  at the embankment with a picturesque "have-not", who speaks in five languages and have lived in five countries (Canada, Israel, France, Italy, Australia). Then he came back to Ukraine and nearly had drunk himself to death because of depression.

Our relations with Lyuda have been, perhaps, the most romantic one could imagine. She watched me on TV, then we met in Kiev, then in Sevastopol and now - in Moscow. I wonder, where our forth rendez-vous could occur.

I cheat McDuck on 55 R ($0.70) the second day in a row and going to do that until Russia will return Crimea to Ukraine.

I terribly don't want to return to rotten Moscow but it's time to have a rest. When you are on vacations and they send you emails with the word HELP! in a subject line, it proves that I deserved my leave.

It seems I have understood why Crimea this year looks like an utter trash: compared to the previous years, there are few beautiful women at the beaches. Instead, there are lots of sluts who don't hesitate to hand out leaflets advertising their service even though I go with a child hand-in-hand. We dumped the prostitutes but made friendship with the local yoga community. our people are everywhere!

I had a row with the local scum while trying to free a playground from their presence. The mobs started to make a racket: "This is our territory, we can do here whatever we want, and you visitor don't dare tell us how we should behave". Still, the other gang of locals hanging nearby took my side, so the balance of force had been equal. The conflict was solved peacefully: seeing my resolution, first the chicks, then the studs started to offer their friendship, white wine from the bottle and proposed to accompany my to some The Atlantida site (I don't know what it is and didn't dare asking). The local Moms also passed their kids for Max's care and he was reading them the Star Wars book.

On the way from Yalta to Sevastopol, a woman, who works as a teacher, sitting at the front seat, was sharing with the driver her concerns about the horrors of living in that "free city". She started with the fact that it's impossible to buy tickets to/from Sevastopol without producing a passport and ended with information that commissioners from the United Russia party have been assigned to every state-run institution to sniff for ideological discords. "I've lived all my life in Crimea and I say it responsibly: that used to be in the Soviet times only. Now the Sovok (derogatory term for Soviet rule) has returned in full swing!" Obviously, the woman did not fear that the driver will report her to a United Russia commissioner.
