Сидишь такой медитативный в лесу на озере, и тут звонок из редакции: "Игорь, в Турции переворот. надо срочно осветить!" Ну блин, как я из леса это сделаю?!

Если бы путчисты (а также террористы) готовили свои акции с умом, они бы устраивали их строго в рабочее время. А по-хорошему, заранее разослав в СМИ пресс-релизы. Потому что нет ничего хуже и опаснее, чем злой журналист, оторванный от законного отдыха. Watergate их ничему не научил.

While you are sitting by the lake meditating, an output editor calls your mobile: "Igor, there's a coup attempt in Turkey, we need to cover that urgently!" Oh, well, how am I suppose to do that from the forest?

If the conspirators (as well as terrorists) would prepare their actions mindfully, they would launch them in working hours only. Better still, they ought to email press releases in advance. Because there is nothing worse than an angry journalist whose pastime has been ruined by untimely coup. Watergate tought them nothing.
