Сто лет не был в "родных" (гы-гы) Мытищах, за это время здесь как по щучьему велению понастроили столько всего, что я словно в другой город попал. Даже что-то вроде местного патриотизма во мне проснулось - я тут узнал, что Мытищи по благоустройству заняли первое место в Московской области. 

I haven't been to my "hometown" (LOL) of Mytishchy for many weeks, and for that time, like with a wave of a magic wand, they have erected so many new buildings that I feel myself like in a new city. I even feel something like a surge of local patriotism. Lately I learnt that Mytishchy took the first place in the Moscow region in urban beautification rating.
