Оказывается, в Москве чернь махала красными флагами, а в Спасском пели птицы, шумели сосны, облака отражались в прудах, о чем-то шептала вода в унитазном бачке тургеневской усадьбы. Не был здесь около 20 лет. По одометру, мы за два дня наездили 850 км по трем областям. 


It occured that in Moscow the mobs waved red flags in the streets while in Spasskoye the birds sang, the pine trees rustled, clouds reflected themselves in the ponds, water wispered in a bowl in Turgenev's estate. I have not been here for some 20 years. According to the odometer, we have covered 850 km in the three regions.
