Неожиданно мне позвонили из аппарата Московской областной Думы и пригласили на посиделки бывших депутатов. Двадцать лет прошло, как наш состав отсидел свой срок, а не забывают - мы были первые! 

All of a sudden, I got a call from the Moscow Regional Duma (Parliament), and they invited me to a get-together with the former MPs. The tenure of "our" Duma has ended 20 years ago but they still remember us, as we were the members of the first regional parliament in the post-Soviet Russia.
