Байконур нереально гигантский: от гостиницы до стартовой площадки ехали более часа, а ведь это еще не весь космодром!
Местами Байконур выглядит как город-призрак:кварталы заброшенных 5-этажек с заложенными кирпичом окнами.Следы 1990-х,когда он был бесхозным. Зато на Байконуре такси из любого места в любое стоит 20 р.
Казахская подружка подала идею: вместо аппарата "Фобос-Грунт" посадить в эту ракету всех гопников и отправить на Марс- как британцы свою гопоту в Австралию направляли.

Baikonur space center is enormous: we drove from a hotel to a launch site for more than an hour, and this is only a part of the cosmodrome!  Some areas of the town look like ghost-city with five-storey buildings abandoned in 1990s when the place had no owner. 
My Kazakh female friend offered to load that rocket instead of the Phobos-Grunt probe with the local mobs and to send them to Mars, like the British used to send their mobs to Oz.
And by the way, a cab fare from any place to any place in Baikonur is only 20 rubles (some $0.60).
